Our surveyors are involved in all aspects of survey and we are looking for a Surveyor to join us who is keen to progress their career, pursue new technology, and explore the boundaries of our exciting profession.

**The opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hamilton Survey team as a Surveyor. Our surveyors are involved in all aspect of survey and our team are leading the way when it comes to new technology and innovation; with access to all the latest scanners, drones, survey equipment and processing software. This is a great opportunity to progress your survey career and contribute to the development of our survey business in the Waikato region. Each day will be varied with new opportunities, but overall you can expect to:

- Take responsibility for the coordination and direction of survey projects and parties
- Ensure delivery of quality projects within time and budget
- Develop your skills in capture and processing of 3D scanning, UAV and modelling of point cloud data
- Drive for improvement to learn, develop and innovate new surveying methods.

While your focus will be the Waikato, you are joining a large multidisciplinary firm where you will find the opportunity to be involved in large and varied national and international projects working with utilities, transport and local government clients. We will give you the tools, support and most importantly, the right level of challenge to enable you to excel in the role.

**About you**

You are passionate and someone who embraces challenges promotes innovation and leads with a mindset of continual improvement. Having worked as a surveyor for over a year, you are starting with a good level of understanding in GNSS, robotic total stations, LandOnline and survey software, as well as having a decent proficiency on 12d and understanding of Autocad. Laser scanning, UAV and other reality capture experience will be valued.

You will have a desire to grow your skills and develop yourself professionally, as well as assist with mentoring and developing junior staff.
