**The Opportunity**

Our client is a respected construction consulting business based in Queenstown providing quality advice to Developers, Public clients and to Contractors. The provide specialist advice on civil, residential and commercial construction projects.

**The Job**

Reporting to an experienced and respected Director this role will lead a small team of Quantity Surveyors focusing supporting construction businesses from main contractors through to sub contractors. You will help manage client relationships, prepare estimates and tenders, manage payments and claims during construction and provide on going quality control and advice to clients.

You will lead a team or 4-5 QS but also remain hands on with the delivery of technical work.

**Career Opportunity**

His role will quickly progress into a more senior position and work with the Director and Associate around business planning and strategy, with the opportunity for shareholding a distinct possibility within the first 1-2 years.

**Experience**

Good depth of Quantity Surveying experience from an established builder or a PQS consultancy

Strong estimating / cost planning skills, and contract administration knowledge.

Related QS qualifications and ideally NZIQS / RICS

Effective in relationship building and supervising a team
