We are looking for a Heath Care Assistant to join our amazing team and fill a permanent vacancy.

Successful applicants will be expected to be available to work a variety of shifts including night shifts.

We are a fast paced, acute admitting medical ward for older persons and neurology.

**The role requires you to work under the direction and delegation of the registered nurse.**

**You will**:

- Assist the registered nurses in patient care
- Assist patients with personal cares and activities of daily living
- Provide a clean, safe, and tidy environment for patients and staff
- Maintain stock levels and distributed supplies, linen, and equipment throughout the ward

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

- Legally able to work in NZ.
- A passion for delivering high quality, holistic care.
- Good communication skills.
- Motivation and enthusiasm.
- Proven teamwork strengths.
- Able to work rotating and rostered shifts.
- Previous health care assistant experience, preferably with older persons.
