Applications are invited for fulltime seagoing positions on a factory freezer trawler operating in the NZ EEZ. The working language of the vessel is Japanese. Voyage durations are four to six weeks with brief port turnarounds.

Positions available:
Fishing Master
Captains
First and second officers (mates)
Bosuns
Factory manager surimi
Manager H&G and squid
Chief Engineer
Second Engineer

Note: All positions work in the factory to process the catch for extended periods of time.
- You have previous deep-sea fishing experience;
- You can pass pre-employment and on-going drug testing;
- You are a New Zealand citizen or have a residence class visa.

Additional benefits may be available over the first year of employment including food parcels and/or supermarket vouchers and return flights.
Sponsored training opportunities are available for advanced Deck Hand (ADH_F) training or Marine Engineer (MEC 6) training at the Nelson International Maritime Institution, conditions apply.
