- About the Role

Ward 23 is a 22 bed acute general medical ward, with sub specialties in
Rheumatology and Infectious Diseases. We work in a dynamic and fast paced
environment with a supportive team and promote a restorative care approach when
working with patients and their families.
We are
seeking a Hospital Aide with a passion and commitment to the delivery of high
standard of care for the patients. The role of a Hospital Aid varies from day
to day but you will be there to make sure that the ward is running smoothly and
to its highest potential. This could mean performing a variety of tasks such

**as**:

- Personal care - assisting

patients with showering, feeding etc and making beds;
- Cleaning and tidying the ward/house keeping;
- Assisting the nursing team with a variety of
tasks on the ward;
- Ensuring that patients have the best
experience possible. A lot of our patients are elderly and vulnerable; therefore, you will
need to be adaptable and adjustable. You will have excellent communication and
interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast paced, forward thinking and
supportive environment.
