**Our Client**

**The Role**
Located in Balclutha, South Otago, and reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, this key role lies within the Community and Facilities Operations Department. This role is responsible for leading, coaching and developing the team in the provision of services such as Community housing and Community Centres, Aquatic Services, Community Development and Planning, including the financial and performance monitoring of these services. This role will also manage approved work programmes, provide advice, contribute to strategic reviews, capital planning and programmes; oversee facilities maintenance, monitor risk and improve systems, and encourage a positive team culture and show a commitment to health and safety.

**Your Skills and Experience**
To be successful, you will have team leadership experience, extensive project management experience, and ideally have a Business Management, Technical or Project Management qualification. You will also be knowledgeable in the provision of operational services to facilities and infrastructure, with experience in delivering operational planning, policy programmes. Proven interpersonal and relationship development skills are required to effectively collaborate with Community Groups, internal teams and external stakeholders. Also of importance are highly developed documentation, report and workflow process writing skills, enthusiasm and commitment, and the ability to relate to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
