**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced full-stack Developer to join our team and help grow our product suite.

Based in Wellington, this role involves co-designing and building the front-end of new web-app products, managing the back-end interactions with our database and the on-going maintenance of our web-app products. As the role includes the creation of new products, this would ideally suit someone with experience in UX/UI and the collaboration and testing of various ideas and layout designs.

Marketview specialises in the analysis and reporting of large and complex datasets. Our clients include many of the largest public sector and retail organisations throughout New Zealand. This role will focus on delivering flexible, intuitive and visually appealing products for these client bases.

**Qualifications**:

**Frontend skills**:

- Angular 5+
- Typescript
- Html/css
- Rest APIs and JSON
**Backend skills**:

- Java
- Sql, jdbc
- Rest APIs and JSON

Other skills and knowledge useful in the role include:

- Docker containers
- Shell scripting
- UX/UI
- Experience with SQL, postgres and Redshift databases
- Familiarity with AWS cloud environment
- R/Python skills
- The ability to translate raw data into business insight with clear commercial benefits
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in a business to consumer industry
- A good knowledge of New Zealand geography
