As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on a number of platforms, deploying a range of capabilities to support the GCSB mission.
You will be able to sink your teeth into a wide range of activities to develop your skill set by:
- Installing and configuring hardware, storage, and networking;
- Utilising different automation/virtualisation tools;
- Making sure security is built in at all levels of our capabilities.
We offer a flexible environment where you can work to your strengths while having the opportunity to learn and experiment in other areas. We are looking for those with excellent skills and/or interest in systems or network engineering, telecommunications, network analysis and/or cyber security.
**You should be able to demonstrate**:
- Critical and analytical skills;
- A collaborative approach;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Commitment to integrity and be discrete and diplomatic;
- Professional certifications or academic successes;
- The desire to keep New Zealand and New Zealanders safe.
