**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Construction Supervisor to join our project team to help deliver the worlds largest geothermal steam turbine You will be focused on the owners scope of work, which comprises of all our steamfield works. This includes the separation plant, pumping systems, vents, dumps and cross country pipelines. You will also provide a health and safety lense back into our centre of excellence and be driven by getting your crew home safely everyday.

The breadth of this role is wide but here are some of the key areas you will focus on:

- Monitor the construction of the field facilities (aka steamfield) scope of work as part of the wider project in accordance with the project mandate.
- Coordinate, direct and motivate the Contact team and contractors to achieve industry best practice safety outcomes across the project
- Be responsible for management of known risks, and identification of emergent project risks
- Ensure all steamfield works integrate with other project works and meet all contractual delivery dates
- Maintain project financial control, ensuring benefits are delivered within the agreed project budget
- Identify and create opportunities for community and hapu participation in the project
- Review contractor plans, understand what leads to successful constructability outcomes and be prepared to ask probing questions.

You are a strong communicator, people focused and outcomes driven. You will have plenty of stories to share around similar projects you have been involved in and where you have made real impact to process and efficiencies.

You understand the complexities of large scale, extensive construction projects and ideally the layers of work specific to power generation and geothermal. You are comfortable working in ambiguity and constantly ask questions until you uncover the root cause.

Above all you will bring a positive, safety first approach to your work and comfortable story telling to different audiences.
