**Mōu | Who You Are**
The University is committed to building Māori scholarship capacity, and knowledge of tikanga and depth of engagement with te ao Māori would be an advantage, along with experience working in vision Mātauranga and Pasifika methodologies. To be successful in the role, you will have experience at the interface of communication, political science, international relations and related fields, and a relevant PhD. You will have experience in using computational and quantitative methodologies. You will be proficient in teaching and developing a reflective pedagogical practice, with experience at tertiary level. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of recent developments in both research/scholarship and professional practice in quantitative methodologies. You will have a growing research portfolio through your doctoral studies, or be developing a research practice. Experience of working in multidisciplinary research teams would be an advantage.
