We are currently looking for an experienced Book keeper with accounts payable and payroll knowledge to provide effective support to the organization. Continued growth in number of businesses has created a position for an experienced Bookkeeper based from our Auckland office. The successful applicant will manage the financial recording and reporting for our all businesses. The role assumes responsibility for the following:
- Keeping, reconciling, and maintaining account ledger for cash, eftpos, vouchers and other payment methods using computerized system for all the business units.
- Reconciling daily end of shift reports generated by employees,
- Reconciling bank deposit account against daily bank statements,
- Preparation of daily sales report for all business units
- Oversee and ensure payment of all AP accounts for all business units in a timely manner by monitoring cash flow,
- Liase with third party accountant third party accountant in preparing and reporting business tax obligations,
- Manage the credit card reconciliation process.
- Process fortnightly payroll including managing and reconciling timesheets.
- Preparation of monthly forecasts report.
To be successful in this role, applicant will have:
- Suitable qualification and equivalent relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Work effectively on your own with good time-management
- Excellent communication - written and verbal
- Positive interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with employees of all business units
- Excellent computer skills and MS-office knowledge
Full time work with minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed.
