This position will enable you to develop your skills in a variety of areas, including course delivery, supporting nursing students in the simulation lab and clinical areas

Overall, this person needs to have a passion for promoting nursing education, working in collaboration with the clinical areas and being part of a supportive and committed team.
- Experience_
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of Nursing in an area of mental health and or Primary Health care
- A genuine passion for student success
- Be qualified as a Registered Nurse with the general scope of practice and a current APC.
- A desire to learn Te reo Maori, Tikanga Maori and practice Kaupapa Maori
- An inspirational teaching style, willingness to develop further and the ability to get the best out of others
- Enjoy working within a team towards shared goals
- A qualification to Masters level or a definite plan to work towards this.
- A keen interest in research

The Waitemata DHB require more Registered Nurses to be trained and committed to the Waitakere community in order to ensure that there are sufficient resources to support the growing healthcare needs in this area.
