**Location**: AUCKLAND
**Job type**: Full-time Permanent
**Number of positions for this job**: up to 2

**Pay rate**: from $29.66to $35 per hour
**Days required**: 5-6 days/week
**Hours per week**: min 30, max 60 hours per week

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
Operating and maneuvering excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
Excavating and digging trenches, ditches, foundations, and other structures according to project plans and specifications.
Loading and unloading materials, such as earth, rocks, debris, and equipment, using the excavator.
Performing routine maintenance on the excavator, including lubricating parts, checking fluid levels, and inspecting for damages or malfunctions.
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the equipment and working on-site.
Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project operations.
Following blueprints, maps, and instructions to accurately complete excavation tasks.
Monitoring and adjusting the operation of the excavator to maintain productivity and efficiency.
Excavating around underground utilities and structures with care to avoid damage.
Assisting with other construction tasks and duties on-site as needed.

Job Requirement
Prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage

Self-motivated
Clean non-criminal record
