**ROLE SUMMARY**:
- We require an experienced teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons to very small groups of students from Years 5 to 10 who require extra support with the Cambridge Mathematics curriculum. The successful applicant will be experienced in supporting students with specific learning needs, will be very well organised, and enjoy working as a part of a supportive team.-
- ACG offers competitive remuneration above public sector salary grades.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide Individual Assessment Support for students diagnosed with special learning needs.Summarise Educational Psychologists’ reports; liaise with Cambridge Examinations Officer about agreed special assessment conditions for students with identified learning needs.-
- Maintain accurate SAC spreadsheet, including adding additional students as they arise.-
- Communicate classroom accommodations/strategies suggested for students with specific learning needs with tutor and teaching teams.-
- Provide staff PD around students with specific learning needs as part of January startup and regular staff meetings/briefings.-
- Maintain folder on Teams with recommended classroom strategies for specific learning needs that staff can refer to.-
- Meet with families alongside relevant Head of School to discuss individual student support.**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
