Our Te Iho programme is transforming our network with large infrastructure and system implementations. Our Tupuna Programme is set to transform our mail side of the business. They are both full of huge opportunity for both our business and our customers and will have you drawing deeply on your communication and problem solving skills.
We've got a lot ahead of us and we need a seasoned comms and engagement leader who can quickly understand the opportunities and challenges involved all while keeping our people at the heart of our enterprise-wide decision making process.

About the role
This is a really chunky role, one where you'll support, guide and advise our most senior leaders to help them land our game changing programmes - Te Iho and Tupuna. You'll be the voice of our people, constantly thinking from their perspective, and you'll use your many years of complex change experience to make sure that we are delivering the information our teams need in a logical and pragmatic way. There is lots to do, and lots of variety.
Although you'll work closely with our programme and frontline teams, you'll also be an integral part of the central comms and engagement team. We're really proud of all that our small but tight-knit team achieves. We take our value of “delivering the best” seriously but we also stay true to “bringing the real you” as well and we look after each other and out for each other. You'll also be part of the leadership team and work really closely with the other leads to continue to build on our great team culture.
You'll get the chance to coach others in the team and more widely as colleagues in our programme teams will often seek out your guidance. You'll also spend some of your time alongside the Group Communication and Engagement Manager supporting her with the work she does and being a sounding board when she needs one.

About you
Most suited to someone who has excellent stakeholder management skills, deep change and transformation comms experience, you'll also be someone who enjoys working at pace to get stuff done. It's essential that you've led complex change from a comms and engagement perspective before as it's fair to say this isn't a development role or for someone new to supporting transformation.
