**About the Company**:
Our client is New Zealand’s largest civil contractor, who are responsible for maintaining Auckland’s roads and motorways. Work with a company where every day is different, with many opportunities to upskill and progress your career.
**About the Role**:
This role will require you to work in crews across Auckland’s roads and highways. You will be based in a yard in Mt Wellington, which is where you will start and finish your day. There is also the potential to work from the yard based in West Auckland. Our client is looking for hardworking individuals, who are reliable and have a positive mindset. A standard workday is 6.00am to 3:00pm, or nightshift is available, 7:00pm to 5:00am.
**Duties**:

- Soft landscaping (hedging, pruning, weed eating)
- Litter collection
- General maintenance (pothole repairs)
- Mowing (using John Deere mowers or tractors)

**Skills and Experience**:

- Class 1 full licence
- Class 2 full desirable
- Experience with soft landscaping, litter collection and traffic control beneficial
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
