**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
Working with a small, supportive team of Senior Advisors, you will be the practice lead for all things accountability related, such as Estimates, Annual Review and non-financial performance information, to ensure the LSE group continues to produce high quality accountability products.

This is a great development opportunity for an experienced Senior Advisor as there will be opportunities to grow your experience and knowledge working closely with the Manager to lead improvement programmes, backfill for the Manager at times and support the Office of the Deputy Secretary across a range of functions and activities.

- A strong understanding of, and demonstrated experience with managing processes that underpin the operations of the public sector environment, including Cabinet and parliamentary processes, portfolio / appropriation and budget development, management and reporting, and development of accountability products
- Proven ability to think strategically, develop frameworks, and manage systems and processes
- Ability to quickly assimilate new information or areas of work and come to an understanding of unfamiliar and complex issues
- Experience and interest in leading, coaching and developing people
- Understanding of the functions and workings of Ministers’ Offices, or a keen interest to develop in this area
- Knowledge of MBIE accountability-related practices, systems and networks, or experience in an agency with an equivalent level of complexity
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
