We are looking for exceptional Train Attendant to join our Hamilton team to ensure that all our passengers enjoy an outstanding experience while travelling on our services. You will provide prompt and professional food and beverage service to our customers and ensure they enjoy an exceptional on-board experience. This includes outstanding care of passengers, handling of luggage and revenue collection, along with other general duties. You will thrive on the satisfaction of delivering high customer service and exceeding our passengers' expectations. This will be for the Te Huia Passenger Commuter train.

You will also support the Train Manager as required in the operation of the train, including coupling the trains, shunting of rolling stock and performing safety checks.
To succeed in this role, it is vital that you have a positive, can-do attitude. You will pride yourself on your exceptional customer service skills, and happily go the extra mile for our passengers. You will be able to easily multi-task and be a proactive problem solver. You will need to be physically fit and work in all weathers.
You must hold a full, clean NZ Class 1 Drivers Licence and if you hold a First Aid Certificate, Food and Hygiene and Liquor License this would be an advantage, though not essential as we can arrange this training if you are successful.
This role can have you lifting heavy loads and spending your shift on your feet, so will need a reasonable level of physical fitness.
