Production Supervisor

**Your role and responsibilities**:
At ABB we produce market leading products that improve energy efficiency for commercial companies. We’re looking for a skilled Production Assembler to join our team focused on quality product builds in our Electrification business. Here’s an opportunity to develop your assembly expertise and work on a variety of complex assembly and product build activities. Independently check the quality of your work and contribute to meeting our customer delivery deadlines. It’s a physical role with long periods of standing. You'll mainly be accountable for: - Following technical diagrams and work instructions to assemble our specialist products. - Operating hand tools both pneumatic and battery powered. - Ensuring componentry is correct given part number and description. - Maintaining high quality standards by conducting regular quality testing and process checks with accurate record keeping. - Compliance with our Health and Safety and Code of Conduct policies.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Ability to demonstrate your skills in electronics, mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Skilled in Product Assembly.
- Highly skilled in reading and use technical diagrams, instructions and product manuals.
- Experience working with hand tools.
- A reliable, team player with excellent communication skills and a focus on attention to detail.
- You lead by example when it comes to working safely.
- Applicants must have New Zealand Residency or the permanent right to work in New Zealand.
