registered social worker located at the Christchurch Hospital Campus.

in health is preferred but not necessary as we offer full training.

Our team is a professional
and highly skilled Social Work team, who display a positive attitude and
enthusiasm for health social work. We enjoy the challenge of delivering patient centred
care in a fluid and dynamic multidisciplinary environment. We
respond to a diverse range of health and social needs, no two days are the same,
as we provide a 24/7 Monday to Friday service with six teams across the
Christchurch Hospital Campus.

In this role, you

**will be responsible for**:

- Social work assessment, monitoring and support of patients
- Triaging workloads to meet patient needs and service demands.
- Attending and participating in social work team and departmental

activities, projects and staff meetings
- Participate in service development and quality assurance
initiative/processes.
- Supporting team needs with work prioritisation and delivery
- Work in partnership with our Maori Health team
- Working across our teams to support service demandYour skills will include:

- Competency in the use of digital technology
- You will be able to work effectively in teams

and independently
- Strong
interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- The
ability to work within a Multidisciplinary team
- The
ability to flex and adapt to meet work demands
- Knowledge
of te reo me ōna tikanga.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability
to relate to people from all walks of life
- Experience with Elderly, Care and Protection,
Family Harm, and Trauma, is desirable but not essential.
This role will see you working alongside different multidisciplinary teams so being a team player who can quickly adapt will be essential to your success. Our service is committed to the professional development of our staff and offers regular ongoing development opportunities.
