Yards Stockperson/shepherd

We are looking for a Yards Stockperson to join our team. The team ensure the safe, humane and accurate moving of livestock from trucks to stunners and document numbers and details electronically.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- High animal welfare standards and a keen eye for noting the health of animals when receiving.
- Have great attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and numbers.
- Need to be reliable and punctual
- Need to be physically fit due the physicality of the role
- A forklift licence will be advantageous.

Days start at 5am with 10 hour shifts typical. The working week is Monday to Friday and a short day Sunday worked on rotation.
