*ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a new opportunity for a talented Scrum Master to join our delivery team in Christchurch. You’ll be working in a dynamic team environment to deliver innovative and high-quality software solutions to one of our key clients; a well-known New Zealand financial institution. You’ll have the opportunity to empower and coach a cross-functional team and influence strong agile practices throughout the project team.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

- Leading the process of planning and executing solution delivery.
- Promoting and guiding the use of the agreed agile frameworks and practices.
- Assessing agile/scrum maturity of team/company and coaching to higher levels of maturity.
- Promoting the technical practices that underpin an agile approach (Such as TDD, CI and automation).
- Championing the process of continuous learning and improvement.
- Building an environment of openness, trust and respect where problems can be raised and solved.
- Facilitating discussion, conflict resolution, decision making and progress.
- Collaborating with stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Participating in our agile community to socialise ideas and develop best practices.

*ABOUT YOU
*
- Experience of working in software delivery and a track record of success in a Scrum Master role
- Experience working with financial institutions would be beneficial
- A sound understanding of the agile mindset; being agile rather than doing agile
- A servant leadership style and fondness for empowering the team to make decisions and take ownership
- The ability to identify opportunities for improvement, setup experiments and learn from the outcomes
- The ability to facilitate, influence and persuade with an outcome-focused mindset
- A desire to share your knowledge with your team and peers.
