**About the opportunity**

Join our Central Technology Team as a **Full Stack Developer** in **Auckland** to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every code line we write, every interface we design and every conversation we have, is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers’ experiences.

Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead, you’ll help us contribute to software projects in system analysis, design, coordination, documentation, implementation, and testing on both the Debit Success platform and in the wider Xplor Pay ecosystem.

Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have:

- Analyse, design, coordinate, document, and undertake the development of software systems for assigned projects
- Write, edit, and debug software for assigned projects
- Contribute to the analysis of software projects including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
- Work with staff and clients to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation of existing software projects
- Work with staff and clients to identify opportunities for new software projects that will be of benefit to the organisation
- Provide feedback to staff and clients about performance considerations/usability issues concerning software specifications and implementation
- Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to diagnose and resolve software problems.
- To act as a member of an agile development team (e.g. a SCRUM Sprint Team) as and when required to fulfil role responsibilities and objectives.

**About our Central Technology Team**

At Xplor, we have many different products and technologies. We have evolved from a bunch of startups to a single company with over 700 Xplorers who work in our CT team as one team across the world. You can find everything from super modern to older languages. We continue to iterate on our processes and technologies to find common ground between the different projects and product we have.

With this, we rely heavily on our engineers to be dynamic. Xplor is not the company (yet) where you’ll always have well-defined requirements and rigid processes. Our Engineers have a lot of input into the process and requirements. However, there can be challenges and ambiguity you as an Engineer have to overcome - and we know that’s not for everyone. The positive side of this is that you get to have a lot of say and ownership in the product and the process.

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years’ with Microsoft.NET stack. C# desirable
- Experience working in an Agile Environment
- Version Control Systems preferably GIT or TFS
- Relational database more specifically in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in Ajax, JSON, REST API, web services, and JavaScript a plus
- Experience with popular open-source web development projects, such as JQuery, Bootstrap, and AngularJS.
- Good understanding of.NET language, architecture and design standards.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented development principles
- Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals
- Motivated by a fast-growing environment where you will have to constantly adapt - no two days are the same
