**The Role**

Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Officer to join our busy team on a permanent basis.

This is a critical role where you will be responsible for the daily operational requirements for the inwards and outwards goods within the warehouse. You will ensure containers, and all products are staged and available for loading out to meet shipping schedule requirements. You will also provide support to ensure the daily operational requirements for the inwards goods within the warehouse both nationally and internationally are met.

You will be required to work from 7:00am-3:00pm Saturday to Wednesday with Thursday and Friday as you rostered days off.

Key responsibilities include:

- Be responsible for the planning and coordination of all inwards goods deliveries.
- Ensure incoming goods are monitored; ensuring documentation is checked, receipted, and entered as appropriate.
- Liaise with Procurement ensuring any delivery discrepancies
- Be responsible for the completion of pre-loading and post-loading documentation.

**Qualification**
- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- MPI Transitional Facility Accredited Person preferred
- Forklift Operating Certificate (OSH and F Endorsement) - desirable but not essential
- HAZNO Certified

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP systems is preferred
- 3-5 years’ logistics operations/warehousing experience preferred
- Previous experience in milk powder plant processes is highly desirable but not essential
- Understanding of and experience with standard warehousing practices
- Be an excellent communicator, with strong verbal and written skills.
