We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers across our different services including Community and Rehabilitation and Social Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options on offer.

**What does a Support Worker do?**

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.

**Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below**:

- Meal preparation / grocery shopping
- Community outings and integration
- Giving medication
- Personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing, etc)
- Home management
- Working hours Monday to Friday including alternate weekends (30hrs per fortnight-perm position, rostered shifts, extra hours can be added by picking up relief work)
- Must be able to travel to Richmond, Stoke, South Nelson, Motueka, the Brook, (mileage cost will be covered)

You will earn between $22.70 - $28.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

**What are we looking for?**
- Attitude - a desire to help and support others, achieving excellence in all you do
- Previous healthcare or care-giving experience is desirable, although not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Healthcare qualifications are advantageous.
- Most positions require a full New Zealand driver's licence and your own reliable transport
