We are well known Beauty Hair Salon located in Hamilton.

We have a vacancy for full time Beautician and Hairdresser. You will be working at least 40 hours per week, the work environment is friendly and enjoyable where you will get full support and training as long as you meet the below mentioned minimum job pre-requisites.

**What will your duties be at work**:
**Job description**:

- Carry all aspects of beauty therapy work includes all types of waxing, threading, tanning, facials, eye care and any other beauty treatment which is required to service a customer.
- Carry out treatments in relaxed, friendly and clean environment.
- Ensure relevant infection prevention and control procedures are always followed.
- Ensure aftercare is discussed after every treatment.
- Ensures that entire team conducts each segment of a Client visit courteously, efficiently, and in accordance with the established client retention procedures.
- Assists with the development of weekly and monthly store promotions and events to build the store business.
- Attend and constructively contribute to meetings relevant to your role
- Maintains an adequate stock of store inventory and ensures inventory control of supplies by placing a monthly store order
- Promote and demonstrate products for retail Book customers appointments with efficient time allocated for each appointment.
- Operate cash register to receive payments from customers.
- Attempt to resolve complaints/ customer feedback initially within the practice
- Ensure the Salon is kept to high standards.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures
- Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs.
- Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customersinstructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors.
- Analyze customershair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or suggest hairstyles.
- Using curlers, rollers, hot irons, and curling irons
- Styling and dressing hairpieces, extensions, and wigs
- Schedule client appointments.
- Bleach, dye, or tint hair, using applicator or brush
- Update and maintain customer information records of services provided.
- Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other solutions.
- Operate cash registers to receive payments from patrons.
- Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics.
