**The Role**

Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our busy team on a permanent basis.

Working with a wide range of stakeholders and across all aspects of the business, you will have excellent exposure to how Synlait operates. This is a challenging and rewarding role within a vibrant, supportive team environment focused on supporting business needs.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Complete in-depth analysis of financial performance and providing insights
- Developing and maintaining financial models that support business decision making
- Providing analysis to FP&A and the wider finance team to support internal and external reporting
- Developing forecasts and long-range plans through robust driver-based planning methods
- Continually assessing systems and processes to improve accuracy, timeliness, and cost

This role can be based at our central Christchurch office, with a requirement to work from our Dunsandel site approximately one day per week.

**Qualifications**
- University degree - Finance or related field
- CA membership or similar

**Skills and Experience**
- 5 - 7 years’ experience in related field
- Dairy industry knowledge an advantage
- High level of Excel skills
- SAP knowledge would be an advantage
