Carpentry Tutor

It is important that you have:

- A genuine interest in working and communicating with young adults and an enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
- Level 4 carpentry qualification
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision

**Position 2**: Contract position teaching Trades Academy students for one or more days a week with the possibility of fulltime hours for the right person.

The Trades Academy provides secondary school students with a wonderful opportunity to try out a vocation they are interested in. They can get a taste of what a job may be like and get hands on experience.
- Have appropriate Carpentry knowledge, skills and experience
- Be able to work alongside students and encourage learning with empathy for youth and learning styles highly important
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to safety procedures

A relevant qualification desired but most importantly you must have a genuine interest in working with young adults and enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
