**The position**

Reporting to the Principal, the School Business Manager is a vitally important role that oversees all financial functions and flow of resources for Spotswood College. This incorporates supporting strategic, operational and planning responsibilities along with managing the finances and budgets, property management resources and related tasks for buildings and facilities and maintenance. Along with this you will oversee compliance and source funding opportunities.

**The person fit**

If you are a person who can comfortably manage a large portfolio of work, able to juggle multiple projects and have a handle on what stage they at along with the skills and experience required below than we would be keen to hear from you.
- At least 5 years plus experience working as a business manager with strong financial expertise
- Preferably a tertiary related qualification
- Computer savvy with experience in using a wide range of systems
- An ability to prepare budgets, forecasts and reports including end of year audits
- Have a health and safety focus
- Able to lead, mentor and support a team
- Connect well with a wide range of people
- Able to look at the ‘big picture’ and plan well ahead of time
- Experience with property/facilities management managing all aspects of repairs and maintenance
