We have a **permanent full time opportunity** for an experienced L4 Caregiver at our Maupuia Facility, situated at the heart of Miramar community with stunning views overlooking the Cook Strait and Kaikoura mountain range. This well established home is built over two levels and includes a hospital facility.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Providing and maintaining safe environment for residents.
- Individualized quality care to the residents and assist them to achieve the optimum level of well-being.
- Assist in the provision of a high level of care meeting the standards required.
- Demonstrate customer service and attention to detail while performing Caregiver duties.
- Ensure all equipment is used in accordance with relevant guidelines.
- Ensure daily work schedule is completed.
- Perform additional necessary duties as directed.

**Skills and experience**
- You must have 1-3 years previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in rest home care, hospital level care, (respite care, dementia Care and palliative Care)
- Proven team member experience
- Proven verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Previous experience in the Aged Care industry preferred
