**About the Role**

Right now we have a great fixed term, part-time opportunity - we are looking for a Pou Tiaki to join our Walter Nash Centre Team.

The fixed term contract will run from 30 September 2024 until 23 December 2024.

The core hours are Friday & Saturday 2.30-11pm, Sunday 1.00-9.30 and Monday 2.30-11pm although there is flexibility with these hours to meet the demands of large events or bookings.

With a focus on the sport, event and library activity here at the Centre, there is opportunity to work alongside our community to create and deliver programmes and events.

The purpose of this position is to deliver customer-centric services that are responsive to the community's needs, optimise our spaces for community use and increase awareness of and engagement with community regarding council wide services.

We need someone who can confidently provide a high quality and welcoming frontline service to all customers. You'll naturally embrace biculturalism and cultural diversity, be technologically savvy, and have confidence dealing with a wide range of customer groups.

You'll have the ability think on your feet and use initiative to find creative solutions for our customers. You'll have a real passion for making a difference in our community and provide a great service to every person who enters our facility.
