Electrical Inspector

Our client is a well-known and respected player in the power industry in the upper North Island. Being a technology enabled distributed energy company they offer a great workplace in a fantastic location and are strong on community support and involvement.

With plenty of work and continual growth, they have a need for an **Electrical Inspector** to join their team.

**The Role**
You will be responsible for meter installations, electrical inspections, technical troubleshooting and developing new standards and training.

Specifically, you will:

- Undertake site visits to install, repair, replace meters
- Inspect electrical work
- Carry out electrical safety investigations
- Assist with the development of new standards, manuals, procedures and policies
- Provide technical support and training

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- A relevant electrical qualification
- Electrical Inspector registration - must hold a current practicing licence
- At least 10 years’ experience in electrical distribution industry
- Proven electrical inspection experience

Personally, you will be a people person, able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing. You must hold a full and clean NZ driver’s license to be successful in this role
