We are looking for a positive, energetic and reliable person to join our Butchery Team. Someone who is a consistent self-motivated individual who will display high presentation standards, an excellent work ethic and communications skills.
The primary role of the Butchery Meat Packer is to pack, present and merchandise cuts of meat. The ability to work in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail is essential. You will be, among other things, delivering high customer service and assisting with enquiries, filling the display case, ensuring temp checks are maintained, cleaning to a high standard and maintaining equipment. All whilst adhering to Food Safety, Health and Safety, product presentation and rotation standards, policies and procedures.
This is a busy department that requires all hands on deck, a determination to work hard and the will to succeed in a demanding environment. There will be a lot of manual handling so you will be physically fit to meet the demands of the job.
Days and hours to be confirmed, there will be extra hours where the business requires. Flexibility to work non-rostered days is a must.
