**The Role**

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and secure mobile payment solutions. Your deep understanding of mobile platforms, such as Android and iOS, and expertise in card payments will drive the development of cutting-edge features and ensure seamless integration with our payment systems.

**Key responsibilities and expectations**
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and plan project timelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Debug and resolve software defects and issues, working closely with the QA team.
- Develop unit, integration, and interface tests.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development and card payment technologies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**
- Experience at a senior level designing and writing automated tests, using version control systems, and continuous integration solutions.
- A solid understanding of key Android APIs and components, including those relating to user-interfaces, network communications, inter-app communication, permissions, and security.
- Familiarity with payment industry standards, such as EMV, PCI-DSS, and tokenization.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Has a basic understanding of how data is represented by computers.
- Has an interest in scaling CI/CD and improving Ops flow.
- Enjoys creating a polished UI matching exact specifications.
- Is familiar with, or has some experience with: EMV, Connectivity, Security, C, NDK, cryptography, KMP.
- be inquisitive and enjoys investigating how things work, and why;
- be able to contribute and share own ideas and feedback;
- enjoy communicating ideas and insights; this will manifest itself in personal communication and in the code and documentation you create;
- demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate solutions and thinking process in a clear way;
- be naturally eager to learn; and
- be a team player and able to collaborate with colleagues at all levels across the Company.
