We are a very busy supermarket who are looking for a qualified Butcher or apprentice Butcher to join our fantastic team in the Butchery Department. Our supermarket is a fast-paced environment with a high standard of quality products. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, positive team player who understands and enjoys the challenges of supermarket butcher retailing.

**In this role you will**:

- Correctly & efficiently slice and cut all meat whilst reducing wastage.
- Assist product preparation for our customers.
- Ensure the meat cabinets and freezers are appropriately stocked, cleaned and maintained.
- Ensure all customer special orders are prepared to agreed timeframes.
- Enhance the image of the department by implementation of agreed standards of display and presentation of stock.
- Maintain high standards of Food & Workplace Safety.

- Qualified/Experienced Butcher or someone wanting to pursue a career as a Butcher.
- Hardworking, reliable, & honest person
- Always have a good sense of humour and be a team player
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confidence and maturity to work unassisted at times.
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand

This role is permanent full-time, Tuesday to Saturday 5.30am to 2pm
