**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Join a small team of 3 Resuscitation Coordinators, Simulation Technician, Administrator, Manager and Clinical Lead at the Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre. You will report to the Centre Manager and be supported to work with your team as well as autonomously to achieve success in Resuscitation education for our region.

To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter and able to identify and undertake projects and work on your own initiative and drive. This role requires Monday-Friday, 0730-1600, with some weekends throughout the year to cover necessary courses.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Work with chief professional advisors and the skills centre manager to plan, facilitate and deliver an education programme across the organisation and external healthcare organisation.
- Provide supporting role and advice in the cardiac arrest/medical emergency team, providing clinical support and advice as required if attending an event, or post review debrief.
- Identify, assess and document clinical risk with clinical practice/equipment and take appropriate action to make improvements.

**Mōu | About you**

Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:

- NZRC instructor desirable or willing to qualify within 6 months
- Expertise in all aspects of resuscitation practice
- Experience working in an acute care environment
- Knowledge of adult teaching and learning principles
- Experience in providing training, education, team facilitation and coaching
