**Inwards Goods Storeperson - Wigram New World**

**Permanent Full-time**

We are looking for an experienced Inwards Goods operator to join our team. This is an opportunity for someone who has forklift operation experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment.

You will be responsible for actively and accurately managing the receipting and movement of inwards goods for the site, including the timely unloading of deliveries. The Store Person role is a physical one and involves heavy lifting and a good level of fitness would be to your advantage.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Unloading deliveries (forklift experience and license required)
- Goods receipting and scanning-in all incoming goods
- Organise and manage proper storage and handling procedures to maintain the quality of goods
- Maintaining a tidy and well-organised storeroom and inward goods area
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline the flow of goods
- Collaborate with the management team to contribute to the overall success of the supermarket
- Meeting Food Safety Inwards Goods policies and Food Safety procedures

**What you’ll bring**:

- Current Forklift Licence with F endorsement
- Previous experience in a grocery or warehousing environment
- High level of attention to detail and proven time management skills
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Reliable, organised and have a can-do attitude

**Personal attributes required are**:

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with a team
- Ability to multi-task and complete tasks within the required time-frames
- A positive work ethic and attitude

This position is a 5 days per week, with the days of work being Tuesday - Saturday, with early morning starts. Hours of work will be discussed at an interview.

Overseas applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit.
