Linehaul Dispatcher

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and professional dispatcher to join our Hastings based team in the sunny Hawkes Bay.

Emmerson Transport Limited is a family-owned company that operates more than 100 large units plus a host of other ancillary equipment which makes the company one of the largest independent operators in the transport industry.

The Company operates out of several strategically placed North Island depots.

You will need to be an experienced transport dispatcher capable of controlling a number of trucks to meet specific KPIs as well as a person who has the ability to multi task, think quickly, and know the importance of customer service.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a dispatcher. Linehaul experience preferable.
- A flexible, organised approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understand the meaning of adding value to our customers business
- High level of attention to detail and solution focused.
- Excellent time management
- A can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running
- An understanding of Microsoft Office programs. E.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to work within a team environment and independently
