We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual to join our highly effective, professional and caring team as a Committee Advisor.

**Ngā āhuatanga o te mahi | Details of the job**

As the Committee Advisor, reporting to the Governance Manager, you will;
- Organise and co-ordinate meetings, in accordance with Council’s meeting protocol and relevant legislations.
- Deliver high-quality agendas and minute taking, sometimes within tight timeframes.
- Maintain a close professional working relationship with elected and appointed members of Council and its committees.
- Support Elected Members and governance administration processes.
**Ō pūmanawa | Your skills and experience**

You will have experience in high level administration roles, and have a track record in meetings management, planning and skills that demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality, judgement and discretion.

You will also have:

- Relevant experience in local government administration and meeting processes.
- Strong organisation and co-ordination skills.
- High level listening and written communication skills.
- A ‘can do’ positive and caring attitude towards what you do and who you do it with.

The location of the role is flexible - you can choose to be based in either Whakatāne or Tauranga. The salary range is $67,506 to $79,411 per annum; appointment within this range will be dependent on relevant skills and experience.
