Showroom Team Leader- Dunedin

**The role**:

- As a Showroom Team Leader, you will be responsible for effectively leading the trade hall team to ensure performance exceeds set goals and to deliver excellent customer service to our customers. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Showroom, which will see you manage and coordinate In-store advertising, promotions, Merchandising and displays. Product ordering and liaising with the Inventory team to ensure sufficient stock is available. This is a permanent full-time role with one Saturday on a rotation roster.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Seeks out value-add solutions for internal and external customers
- Proactively assists customers with their needs
- Set clear expectations and work with the retail team to set clear goals
- Effectively communicate with the team, providing feedback where possible
- Actively demonstrate safe work processes, and behaviours and ensure these are followed by all employees and contractors in their place of work
- Ensure that all products in the retail area are displayed correctly, and that they are displayed with the correct price and SKU
- Ensure the wider team are aware of the current promotions, and that any appropriate changes are made in the relevant systems
- As requested, undertake projects or activities as required by the business.

**About You**:

- You care about the little things and have an impeccable eye for detail when it comes to product/store presentation and enjoy thinking outside the box to ensure overall objectives are met. Your positive, hands-on attitude, fantastic organisation skills and awesome work ethic is essential. You will be a great communicator, enjoy building a good rapport with both your team and our customers alike and be comfortable with flexibility, using your own initiative and taking the lead.

**Alongside this, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- Clearly influences internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals
- Demonstrable ability to motivate others
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- A Full NZ driving licence is a must
- Pervious people leadership experience is a must, proven experience in leading/managing a team
- Building industry, warehousing, retail, or consumer showroom environment is a nice to have
- Have excellent attention to detail and time management skills
