Security Guards

Our Company is a Security Services Company. We are currently looking for 10 hardworking Security Guards, who are willingto working in a challenging. The experience in the related field is appreciated but not mandatory.

We require the following:
- Must havea Drivers Licence.
Multilinguistic people will be given preference
Must be ready to travel and have full Drivers License with relevant driving endorsements.

Applicant must be physically fit in order to be recruited for this role.
A pre-employment medical and drug test will be a part of the recruitment process.
Flexible with working hours and should be able to work over the weekends (days of work includesweekends, as per the employersrequirement and weekly roaster)

Key Responsibilities:

- Patrolling and guarding industrial and commercial property and other facilities.
- Patrolling property and checking doors, windows and gates for unauthorised entry
- Watching for irregularities such as fire hazards, malfunctions of machines and equipment, lights left on, leaking water pipes and unlocked security doors.
- Issuing security passes to authorised visitors and giving directions.
- Monitoring alarms and contacting supervisors, police and fire brigades by radio or phone if security is breached or fire is detected.
- Escorting stakeholders staff while handling cash and valuables
- Maintaining order at venues where there are large gatherings of people controlling crowd at events.
- Detecting and reporting theft and other unlawful acts carried out in retail establishments.
- Advising clients on security requirements and assisting in designing security specifications.
- Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment on the property.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protectproperty.
- Enforcing clients policies and procedures

Remuneration: $29.75 per hour
Minimum 35 hours of contract - Permanent Full Time

Location: Auckland (All Locations) and Waikato (All Locations)
