**Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role**:
As part of the Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga Executive Leadership team the Executive Dean will lead their allocated faculty teams to ensure delivery of vocational education excellence that contributes to the overall goals and objectives of Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $195,000 up to $220,000, dependent on skills and experience.

The Executive Dean is based in our Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga reporting to the Regional Executive Director and will be responsible to:

- Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of annual faculty plans, ensuring alignment to organisational objectives.
- Work in collaboration with other Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga executive leaders contributing to the overall leadership of the organisation and ensuring leadership and delivery is connected and aligned.
- Lead the delivery of all teaching and learning within the faculty, ensuring delivery of vocational education excellence and successful outcomes for ākonga.
- Lead and manage the faculty team ensuring high performance and values-based delivery. Grow and develop the team to enable the ongoing success of kaimahi and Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga.
- Ensure oversight of compliance requirements being met for all aspects of the position including (but not limited to) employment, academic quality, reporting, stakeholders and ākonga.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Leadership experience at an executive level including, leading large and diverse teams and leading and managing change projects from design to successful delivery, and strong demonstration of values-based leadership.
- Significant experience in the vocational education sector, with particular experience across academic delivery.
- Experience in developing people and building a strong, collaborative, high performing inclusive and diverse team based over multiple locations.
- Sound judgement and proven skills to manage and think holistically across a broad range of issues.
