**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

The focus of our Senior Associate is to support our Partner/s around the delivery of exceptional service to our customers. This support will have a credit focus with an emphasis on strong credit writing capability and portfolio risk monitoring. The Senior Partner (who you'd report to) gave us some insight on what to expect with the role:
**What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Supporting business partners - with all client's requirement as well various stakeholders across the bank
- Collaborating with BNZ specialists to deliver value add products that meet our clients' requirements
- Risk Management - quality assurance measures
- Analysing customer financial accounts and credit proposals, and completing credit submissions
- Delivering on SLA agreements

In this role you will have exposure to a range of customers across different industries and no two days will be the same.

**What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?**

Ideally you'll have experience in financial modelling, credit writing, and business banking, however we are also keen to hear from those that are experience Bankers with complex lending experience. You'll be an enthusiastic team player with a strong desire to succeed, a customer focused attitude and a true talent for building long-term relationships. A sound understanding of banking principles and document preparation will be a distinct advantage. Most importantly, you'll be a driven individual, a real team player, with the ability to build an effective operating rhythm within our busy environment. A natural problem solver, you'll be able to adopt through changes and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
