TSB Living Limited is a dynamic and fast-growing company in furniture retailing. We currently have 3 branches (Auckland, Chirstchurch and Wellington), and our registered address is at 80 Springs Road, East Tamaki, Auckland. Due to our business expansion, we are currently looking for a Shopify Web Expert / Web Manager to join our Auckland team.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As a Shopify Web Expert / Website Manager at TSB Living, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing our Shopify ecommerce platform. Your role will involve creating custom themes, integrating third-party apps, and improving site performance to enhance the user experience and drive sales.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and customize Shopify themes to create an engaging and user-friendly online store.
- Integrate third-party apps and tools to enhance site functionality.
- Optimize website performance, including site speed and SEO.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to implement new features and improvements.
- Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and responsive.
- Monitor and analyze site performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development.
- Provide technical support and coordination, safeguarding the company against potential failures.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**
- Proven experience in Shopify store construction, launch, and maintenance, with a general understanding of the admin system
- At least 4+ years experience using Shopify 1.0
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with a thorough grasp of the DOM.
- Previous experience working with custom themes and/or the Storefront API.
- Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.
- Experience in implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps and building unique solutions if necessary.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
- Proficiency in testing and debugging using the browser console and other tools.
- Prior experience in developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Working knowledge of third-party services, APIs, and Shopify plugins.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide proactive feedback.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
