What is Parking Enforcement all about?

Parking isn’t just about enforcement, our Officers are dedicated to ensuring everyone gets the chance to park close to their favourite shops or café, and our tamariki are kept safe at the school gates. You will be our eyes on the ground, walking the streets of our gorgeous district doing daily patrols, enforcing parking regulations and ensuring the safe efficient operation of the district’s roading networks.
- Have excellent customer services skills
- Be patient, always happy to help
- Have a good level of physical fitness
- Have experience with conflict management - essential as you may encounter complex situations
- Display a cool and collected manner when working under pressure
- Have an innovative and proactive approach to solving problems

Situated in the heart of Ngāti Kahungunu, the Hastings district and Hawke’s Bay offer an enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play. You will be part of a great team but you will also need to be comfortable with working alone.
