**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

Join our team as a Café Attendant and play an important role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests in one of New Zealand’s most beautiful locations. You’ll be a key part of our front-of-house team, working together with the kitchen and café staff to ensure our guests get the ultimate experience.

**The role involves**:

- Providing excellent guest service and assisting in creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensuring smooth daily operations across the café, from the floor to the kitchen.
- Preparing the café space to ensure it’s always neat and inviting for guests.
- Assisting with stock orders and inventory management.
- Taking guest orders, processing transactions through POS (including cash handling).
- Supporting the Food & Beverage Business Manager with any other tasks as required.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences—your attitude is what matters most A positive, can-do mindset and enthusiasm for creating memorable moments for our guests are key.

While previous customer service experience is helpful, it’s your attitude and energy that will make you stand out. Experience in a café or making coffee is a bonus, but not essential. Familiarity with New Zealand’s Sale of Liquor Act and industry regulations is a plus, but not required.

What’s most important is your ability to work well with others, communicate effectively, and bring a genuine passion for café culture and outstanding service.
