Do you have a flair for strategic planning and have an interest in Recreation & Sports? This may be the role for you Our Recreation, Sports & Events unit is looking for an experienced Workforce Planner to join the team.
**Some of the key tasks**:
- Identify workforce requirements and recommend areas for improvement for both rostering and time management systems and practices.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to enhance staffing and operational deliverables.
- Identify potential workforce risks and issues that may impact the delivery of service.
- Develop roster templates across the unit that ensure optimal business efficiency.
**About you**:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary degree in a relevant area (e.g., management, commerce, economics, or related fields)
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in workforce coordination.
- A strong communicator, who is able to modify their approach to influence and deliver results to all audiences.
- Attention to detail with proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong organisational skills, with an analytical way of thinking.

**Additional information**:
Hours of work - Permanent, full-time
Location - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street
