We have an opportunity for a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a focus on getting the job done to join our storeroom/inwards goods team as a Storeroom Assistant.

**Purpose of the role**:
Assist with the receipting, unloading trucks, checking, and storage of all stock coming into store through the backdoor, and to assist with processing credits.

**About the role and responsibilities**:

- Unloading trucks
- Marking off all products that come through the back door ensuring the quantities received match the pick slips/invoices.
- Processing all necessary paperwork on timely manner
- Follow Health and Safety, Food Safety Policy and compliance procedures in the store
- Assist with processing of credits/or short deliveries
- Keep storeroom area clean and tidy as you go
- Has an understanding of SAP or similar software
- Have a valid Forklift Licence
- Good work ethics and good team player
- Reliable, well organised, and good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of this role
- Have storeroom experience within the supermarket industry or similar
- Have the right to work in New Zealand
- Available to work one day in the weekend.
- Can be flexible in their working hours
- Takes pride in their workspace

**Days & Hours**: Monday to Friday 4am - 2pm
