**About the Role**

This can be a rewarding environment, one where you truly get to know the people under your clinical care and their families/whanau. As a RN, you are responsible for providing nursing care that is safe, cost effective and of the highest quality in accordance with the evidence, professional standards, organisational standards and policy and procedure.

We have full time and part time opportunities; in most cases we have fixed rosters so you can plan and achieve work/life balance. But if flexibility is your thing, we have our own Bureau team who can offer casual hours across our Homes.

You will work as part of a team in a peer-supported environment, where everyone wants to deliver great quality care to our residents and ensure they have a positive experience whilst living in our Homes. Now who wouldn't want to be 'enlivened' by that

**About You**

You may be looking to put your toe in the water and try a new environment, or you may have a passion for Elders and existing experience in Aged Care. We are interested in talking with anyone who wants to explore what a career with us might look like and find out what it's like to be 'enlivened' at work

Above all we want to talk to people who are enthusiastic, but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills and a real team player. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect and operate with a person centred approach and high standards of quality care. You will enjoy not being tied to a single clinical specialism and thrive where you can continuously be exposed to new learning and development opportunities. You will want to be more than just a name on a roster, but feel a belonging with the Home, your colleagues and residents. Aged care provides a special place for those that enjoy the connections that come with a more holistic level of healthcare.

You will have great people skills, whether you are spending time with staff or residents, it's all about the way we communicate with each other and how we get the job done that counts and makes the difference to everyone's day.

Along with excellent communication and a quality improvement focus, you will hold:

- NZ RN with current Annual Practising Certificate
- At least 1 years’ full time equivalent RN experience in provision of care to older adults
- Experience working in a sole charge role is beneficial, but not essential
