Te Whatu Ora Te Matua a Māui Hawke's Bay has an exciting opportunity for an Oncology Manager to join the Hospital Group Leadership Team to support with delivery of high-quality healthcare for the Hawke's Bay District.
This is a pivotal role that will provide senior management support to the General Manager and will directly contribute to the quality and success of our service delivery within the Hawke's Bay District. The role provides leadership across medical oncology, clinical haematology, radiation oncology and hospital specialist palliative care services and is supported by an established group leadership team.
You'll need to be self-motivated and results driven as well as enjoy working in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. You'll have a passion for making a difference, achieving results and be hungry for a challenge. You'll work in partnership with neighbouring Te Whatu Ora Districts and alongside the wider multi disciplinary team so being able to work collaboratively is a must
- A background in Health Services
- Experience in leading and managing a team
- Patient-focused approach
- Change management experience
- Quality experience
- A focus on contribution to National Health Targets
